Mortality Rate of Gastric Bypass Surgery
Gastric Bypass Surgery is not much heard before but due to the unhealthy eating habits of people nowadays, the cases of obesity are rapidly growing. We often here feature stories on TV about people battling obesity, people who are too fat that they can not perform simple daily activities anymore such as walking, sitting and standing. And so now, GBP is a very common procedure worldwide. The procedure is not that simple, in fact although the resulting weight loss is typically dramatic, the long-term mortality rate of gastric bypass patients before has been low. But thanks to modern technology and I presume lots of practice, it has shown a remarkably reduced rate by up to 40%; however, complications are common.
